Second edition of ANUFOOD Brazil will give the opportunity to experience the latest gastronomic trends to visitors

The event will take place from 9th to 11th March 2020 and brings a number of innovations through interactive events, including themes related to the bar, pizza and gourmet sectors.

 São Paulo, November 2019 – ANUFOOD Brazil 2nd edition, International Trade Show Exclusively for the Food and Beverage Sector, inspired by Anuga, will offer special projects to the visitors including gastronomic trends, networking and business expansion. Planned to take place in São Paulo from 9th to 11th March 2020, at São Paulo Expo, ANUFOOD gathers strategic partners including associations and trade unions of the food industry, which will promote events alongside with the fair and increase the number of visitors overall. 

Arena Show is one of the main attractions offered by ANUFOOD, which is organised in partnership with Abrasel SP (Brazilian Association of Restaurants and Bars) and includes a series of presentations related to Bar, Pizza and Gourmet topics. Ana Salles, Events Director at Abrasel SP, reminds that the entity plans to increase its stand area, which is where the events are held. “The first edition was successful and it showed the visitors has a major interest in the area, so we want to make sure that all of them have access to the presentations and training programmes offered by us. Also, we will be able to provide a larger area to receive our associates”.

 “We at Abrasel are looking forward for the 2nd edition of ANUFOOD Brazil. We will organise lectures, workshops, tasting sessions, products and beverage showcase with our partners (BaresSP, ESBRE, ConPizza); Drinks Contest, pizza and specialty beer barman training programmes, discussions on the future of the beverage market, taxes, beverage menu development, launches, among other events. SINDAL (Syndicate of Equipment Manufacturers, Products Suppliers and Design Services, Industrial Kitchen Assembly and Maintenance) will bring to the fair an innovative project: the Equipment (national and international) and Foodservice (Hotel, Restaurant and Coffee shop) Showroom, which will display the latest news in technology for equipment in the industry. It will be an exhibiting area including updates, learning, information and knowledge on the foodservice industry.

The Confectionery & Bakery Show, developed by SENAI, was a success in the first edition of ANUFOOD and it will provide a larger area for ANUFOOD Brazil 2020. According to Estebe Ormazabal, director of SENAI Foods and SENAI Institute of Food and Beverage Technology, in addition to presentations, lecture sessions and workshops, the audience will get to know the formats and contents of the training programmes and workshops that empower students on the latest news in technology, thus they are updated due to the consumers demands and prepared to apply that knowledge. In practice, they have all the technological support from our experts to encourage the production on creating innovative solutions to face those challenges”.

The program also includes simultaneous events such as the Prime Club, which will gather VIP guests, including retail and food service professionals, and the buyer project, with the presence of national and international buyers.

 Visitors’ convoys

The Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants (Abrasel) has already started organising the convoys for the professionals and executives from those sectors to visit the second edition of ANUFOOD Brazil. In its first edition, the fair received convoys from 35 cities gathering more than one thousand entrepreneurs and, by 2020, the organisers of the expect to increase these numbers.

The objective on organising convoys is to bring as many food service professionals as possible to strengthen the industry with new solutions and consumer trends presented at ANUFOOD. The convoys are available to restaurant owners, gastronomic consultants and chefs who are planning to attend the trade fair, the conferences and the II Abrasel / ESBRE School of Bars and Restaurants Meeting.
