ANUFOOD Brazil will showcase 11 official international pavilions at its next edition

Interest in the Brazilian and Latin American markets reinforces the importance of the exhibition exclusively for the food and beverage sector, not only as a new business generation platform for the Brazilian market but also for exportation

In its second edition, which will be held on March 09-11, ANUFOOD Brazil – International Exhibition Exclusively for the Food and Beverage Sector – will showcase 11 official international pavilions, with exhibitors from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, as well as exhibitors from 24 countries.  In addition, due to the tremendous interest in the Brazilian market from abroad, other international pavilions are expected to be confirmed within the next weeks, according to Michael Fine, Project Manager at Koelnmesse Brasil, organiser of the exhibition. 

Each international pavilion will include the participation of on average eight companies, which will be highlighting products from their respective countries.  The following pavilions have already confirmed the presence at the exhibition: Germany, China, Indonesia, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Peru, Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai  Exports and Sharjah Chamber of Commerce. “The companies from these countries are very interested in doing business with the Brazilian market, as well as with the other countries in Latin America, due to the significant participation at ANUFOOD Brazil from the region,“ afirma Fine.

For its second edition, ANUFOOD BRAZIL will once again organize the B2B Matchmaking programme, with the expectation of achieving 1,500 face-to-face meetings between exhibitors and buyers from Brazil and abroad.  In its first edition in 2019, the programme generated US$ 10-15 billion, and the organizers expect a 50% increase in new business results for this year.  In addition to the Brazilian buyers, international buyers have been confirmed from companies from Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Canada, Mexico, Paraguay, Argentina and the United States. 

Reinforcing ANUFOOD Brazil’s role as an effective platform for bringing international buyers and Brazilian producers together, the exhibition highlights its cooperation agreement with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) for this second edition. 

According to Sérgio Segovia, President of Apex-Brasil, the Agency will work with its partners from the food and beverage industry and with the attendees, in general, including specialised companies and institutions from Brazil and abroad. 

The increase in the presence of international exhibitors at ANUFOOD Brazil is a direct result of the success of the first edition, held in Sao Paulo last year.  The exhibition, the Brazilian version of Anuga, the largest event in the world for the food and beverage industry, will include approximately 14,000 sqm of total exhibition space within the Sao Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.  „We will have at least 400 exhibiting brands, which represents growth of 100% compared to last year’s edition,“ celebrates Cassiano Facchinetti, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Brasil.

In addition to the exhibition space, ANUFOOD Brazil will include an extensive programme of simultaneous events.  A series of special projects are being organized in order to promote even greater interaction among the exhibition’s visitors and to stimulate active dialogue regarding the future of the food and beverage industry, in its diverse aspects, such as leading consumer tendecies, productivity, innovation, health issues, safety and sustainability.  

ANUFOOD Brazil, the only B2B exhibition in Brazil exlusively for the food and beverage industry will hold its second edition on March 09 – 11 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  The event is sponsored by Makro Food Service and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supplies (MAPA).
